SF4 Unvented Pressure Reducing Kit Inc Expansion Vessel + Check Valve

The SF4 kit contains a 2 litre expansion vessel and check valve to prevent expanded hot water re-entering the cold water supply. It also comes with a pressure reducing valve, for areas where water pressure is high. The SF4 kit is suitable for use with small unvented water heaters such as the Hyco Speedflow unit and Ariston Europrisma.

 In smaller unvented systems it may be possible to accommodate the expansion of water which occurs during the heating cycle in the system pipe work, thus reducing the need to fit many of the water controls. However, the expanded hot water must not enter any supply pipe to which a cold water draw off is connected. For this to be achieved the pipe work between the last cold water draw off and the water heater must be of sufficient volume to accommodate the expansion.

(Kit SF4) If the pipework length does not reach these minimum distances, an expansion vessel and non return valve is required.
