Fernox AF-10 universal biocide is used to minimise the occurrence of bacterial and fungal growths in fully indirect domestic central heating and non-evaporative chilled water systems. AF-10 should be added in conjunction with a Fernox Protector F1 or antifreeze to prevent microbiological contamination. AF-10 is also used to prevent the reoccurrence of jelly-like deposits (fungal growths) in feed and expansion cisterns. Gas produced by fermentation within systems may also be eliminated by the addition of AF-10. In single feed indirect cylinders, e.g. ‘Primatic’ or similar, potable water chemicals must be used. Biocide for the prevention of bacterial contamination in domestic heating systems and chilled water. Prevents the reoccurrence of jelly-like deposits in feed and expansions cisterns.
