Sentinel X500 Inhibited Antifreeze is designed to provide enhanced protection against scale and corrosion in all types of indirect central heating systems, whilst preventing freezing. It is effective at preventing hydrogen gas production. Prevents boiler noise and pin-holing. Not suitable for heat transfer circuits of solar energy collector panels. Suitable for use in all waters, both hard and soft. One 20L pail of Sentinel X500 added to a typical domestic system of up to 10 radiators will provide the minimum concentration of corrosion and scale inhibitor and also protection from freezing down to approximately -6°C The Sentinel X100 Test Kit can be used to verify that this level has been reached. To determine the precise glycol concentration, a refractometer is required, available in the Sentinel FrostCheck Test Kit.
