Why should I change my
boiler?

How does a condensing
boiler work?
A condensing boiler works by
recovering the waste heat expelled from the flue system of a non-condensing
boiler and passing it through a secondary heat exchanger where it extracts
additional heat. With a boiler that is 10 year's old or more, as much as 30%
spent on fuel for your heating and hot water is wasted. A condensing
boiler could make a big difference to your household energy bills. In simple
terms, with a Worcester condensing boiler, more than 90p from every £1 you spend
on fuel for your boiler is used effectively for your heating and hot water.
The Greenstar CDI series of
condensing combi gas boilers are wall hung and easily installed. Manufactured
with the highest quality internal components including the following:-

- In-built frost
protection.
- 2-speed pump with
anti-seize device.
The 24i and
28i Junior series are entry level, wall mounted boilers designed for apartments
and 1 bathroom properties. Compact in size, I Junior combis can be installed in
a number of locations and can be used with a choice of mechanical, digital and
wireless programmers. Central heating output 24kW. Hot water flow rates – 9.8
and 11.4 litres per minute @ 35º
temperature rise. Dimensions: 710mm High, 400mm Wide, 330mm Deep.
All Worcester Greenstar gas-fired boilers come
with a 2 year warranty as standard and a 10 year warranty on the primary heat
exchanger.
For added peace of mind, Worcester also hold
spares for their boilers for at least 10 years after they have been
discontinued.
